Dione means ‘Divine One’ or Goddess. She reminds us to hold our head up high, to love ourselves by recognising our inner divine nature and continue to embrace all parts of ourselves. She is a contemporary/abstract take on the Water Goddess of Greek mythology. Dione was Zeus’ wife and mother of Venus/Aphrodite.
